I did this painting, the third acrylic painting I have done, in Grade 12 in an art class at Central Memorial Senior High School in Calgary Alberta, Canada. It was painted on cardstock.
This painting is inspired by a photgraph I took of Vancouver Island from a 12 foot fishing boat off of Fanny Bay, BC. I was playing around with depth illustrated by tonal values and with water waves and relfections.
