Eagle Mountain is around 1km tall and between 2 and 6 km away from the web cam depending on what part of the mountain. The web cam doesn't do it justice and being so close to the base also makes it seem shorter. Mountains are like that.

The view is from my apartment window and I can often spot bald eagles soaring in the skies above Burrard inlet which is between me and the aptly named mountain. Click the image for a larger view.
