Illuminated Web Page Design.

his design is intended to give the effect of an illuminated manuscript or scroll. It does use the Black Chancery font and so may not look as good on some systems. The use of graphic capitols should allow the design to retain some of the design feeling even if the viewer does not have the Black Chancery font.

I am using a different font for the capitol than for the text "Graphic Title" in order to illusturate that nearly any font might be used for the titles or capitols. Normally they would be related fonts or ones that would compliment each other and the design.

he capitols need not be the same size and later paragraphs might use a smaller font size. There are many other backgrounds that might be selected from and of course content and illustrations are what you desire and can provide.

This is one possible style that you might chose from.

This style suits a simple web site design with links within the text or in a simple text menu at the bottom for navigation and contact links. Of course this is up to the client as to how they want menues and links to appear.
